Cherrie Rankin is a Pensacola native, born in 1944.
Most of her friends call her “Cher”, and she is has been an adored member of the local tennis community for over 40 years.
A professional dancer for much of her earlier life, Cher studied ballet in New York, and jazz dance in Evanston IL under Gus Giordano.
In her late 30’s, she earned her RN degree in nursing, and worked at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Later in life, she discovered her interest in photography. While her passion is personal, it is clear that she is gifted at knowing how to capture the soul of a thing in her work.
